Exalted Scenario Base Ideas
Some base ideas for the Exalted scenario. For easy access.
Circle (aka PCs) are starting Solars.
Situation is that they are being sent to one of the Hundred Kingdoms to deal with a threat.
Sender of the mission is Lookshy who are unable to intervene personally in the situation for political reasons.
PCs may/may not be already in a group.
PCs may/may not be known Solars. If known Solars Lookshy accepts the risk of working with Solars as they believe (although they won't nessecarily say it) that fairly powerful forces may be needed to deal with the problem.
Initially the problem is a starting Deathknight. On him is an item (ring/band) that is orichalcum/soulsteel which may/may not be detectable as evil. Regardless it is evil ala Lord of the Rings One Ring. (Have to be careful not to make it too obvious.) However it should have some potent benefits with a subtle but dangerous threat to willpower. Possibly it should "pick" its target by having his/her name on it or having a name from their "past" which they "remember" in its presence or upon handling it.
Figuring that the Solars can kill the lower level Deathknight it will be a trap by a more powerful Deathknight (or devised by a Deathlord and executed by a Deathknight) to kill, capture, or turn Solars. If turning Solars the ring/band is probably involved as a tool. Regardless he comes to mop up from the mess of his lesser and brings along a warstrider (if the Solars are up to it?)
