Ebberron Rnd 2

So anyhow when we last left off our group had been deposited in the jungle near the ruins of a large city. Apparently some of the group had been here before. Advancing in we encounter a gaurd who somehow the healer takes down even the healer is not sure how.
Once into the ruins themselves the party opts to sneak in so as not to get overwhelmed. This works fairly well although a few gaurds have accidents with the warforged's weapons mostly involving them getting stuck in them for a brief period. Sadly it tends to be somewhat fatal.
Eventually the party manages to find itself in an abandoned ampitheatre where they can avoid patrols. Sadly someone hears them and a velociraptor is sent to investigate over the noise of someone singing very badly in celestial.
Alas the raptor is followed by several of his peers including Megaraptors (bigger, badder, with sharper Ginsu claws!).
The combat gods were our war-forged who cheerfully pummel Jurassic Park star after Jurassic Park stuff into paste. In the process the wizard, the monk, and the healer get rather beat up. Lo and behold during the mayhem they discover the source of the bad singing as another human. He manages to extricate himself eventually and join the fight.
Alas party death came to one the dwarven monk cut down by one of the last raptors. The healer could not do enough to save him (useful medic...). Oddly enough the monk is reborn though as a pseudonatural monk. Tentacle demons return this week!

((On a side note, I coulda actually healed the monk as I did not correctly add all my healing bonuses in. Alas but at least he got chicken.))

Exodia Rnd 2 & 3

Ah our group spends a lot of time in the sewers and its rather damp down there. Our heroic leader Sir. Isenbaun sends the party out to go raid a castle. Entry point is as usual through the sewers. Oddly enough my monk tends to be considered the best at sneaking/scouting although he did not do all that well here. Our other sneaky person is our beguiler but he's not as good at the scouting part.

Our three fighters (Dani, Isaac, and myself as close combat fighter, ranged fighter, and hug happy monk) handle gaurd removal and in the meantime the beguiler discovers a very very nice sniper rifle and enough cash to allieviate the any budget issues in the nation for a decade or so. My monk also discovers an entire room full of gunpowder to complement the barrel he totes around on his back. Post-raid demolitions are on his mind. Actually pre-raid demolitions but the rest of the party tends to be less explosives happy then he.

The two fighters in exploring the rest of the castle basement discover an officer torturing a prisoner and kill the officer (after some effort and a point blank sniper rifle shot) and release her. In the withdrawal the monk happily demolishes the castle and everything with a couple city blocks of it.

Sir Isenbaun does not appreciate the demolition portion of the mission so after chastising the monk slightly has the party elect a leader and a treasurer. Isaac's ranged fighter/sniper with gun o' doom is elected as leader and the pyro monk becomes the treasuer. Once again the party is going through the sewers but this time to assasinate some officers.

Monk sent on scouting mission and botches it immediately. Gets shot. Hugs attacker. Gets help killing (er hugging) attacker. Party splits up (with additional characters including a cleric, another fighter (or paladin) and the female prisoner (blackgaurd?) joining) and engages several different gaurds. The new party members use their shields to good effect and the guards are taken down without too much pain and only a couple of dunked characters.

The basement of the house we are infiltrating has much food storage but not a terribly large amount of major treasure. Eventually our leader and the beguiler go upstairs and get pulled into a hairy battle that gets crazier as people trickle up the stairs.

We do manage to kill the two officers we were sent to engage however so the party returns with another mission under the belt.

Also my monk now uses a fake russian accent, I dunno why...

Oy

Yea I'll admit I've neglected updates for the past two weeks. They will be coming hopefully although I'll admit details from 2 weeks back will be fuzzy (I blew up several city blocks and Isaac got a sniper rifle I remember fo' sho').
